Summary:
IPRO requests State Discharge Data from the majority of states in the United States. For various reasons, we only been able to acquire 20 states' data sets, totaling approximately 60% of national discharges. Information regarding each state can be found on their individual pages:
- AZ (Arizona)
- CA (California)
- FL (Florida)
- IL (Illinois)
- MA (Massachusetts)
- MD (Maryland)
- ME (Maine)
- NH (New Hampshire)
- NJ (New Jersey)
- NV (Nevada)
- NY (New York)
- OK (Oklahoma)
- RI (Rhode Island)
- TN (Tennessee)
- TX (Texas)
- UT (Utah)
- VA (Virginia)
- VT (Vermont)
- WA (Washington)WI (Wisconsin)
Known Issues:
- Each state reports differently, as there is no current national standard for reporting state discharge data. Because of this, date ranges and file structure often differ. Development of data sets takes different amounts of time depending on the state producing the data.
- Not all states make their data available
- Each state charges differing rates for the data, and some costs are prohibitive
- Some states do not publicize data at all
